श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता द्वितीय अध्याय सांख्ययोग
भयाद्रणादुपरतं मंस्यन्ते त्वां महारथा: |
येषां च त्वं बहुमतो भूत्वा यास्यसि लाघवम् || ३५ ||
bhayād raṇād uparataṁ mansyante tvāṁ mahā-rathāḥ
yeṣhāṁ cha tvaṁ bahu-mato bhūtvā yāsyasi lāghavam
Hindi Translation:- और जिनकी दृष्टि में तू पहले बहुत सम्मानित होकर अब लघुता को प्राप्त होगा, वे महारथी लोग तुझे भय के कारण युद्ध से हटा हुआ मानेंगे।
English Translation:- O ARJUNA, your high esteem and reputation will become ruined if you do not fight this battle. The mighty warriors will consider you lower than them and will believe that you did not fight the battle because you feared the opponent.
